Refund policy

This policy applies to purchases made through mcx-tech.store. Last updated 15 September 2026.

Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Nothing in this policy limits those rights. The terms below describe what we offer in addition to them.

Change of mind returns

We accept change of mind returns on stocked items within 30 days of delivery or collection, provided the item is:

unused, unfitted and free of chemical residue;
in its original packaging with all parts, fittings and instructions; and
accompanied by proof of purchase.

A restocking fee of 15% applies to change of mind returns, and return freight is at your cost. Nozzles, caps and seals that have been removed from sealed packaging cannot be returned for change of mind, because we cannot verify they have not been used with chemical.

Items we cannot accept for change of mind

Special order and indent items brought in specifically for you.
Tanks, sprayers and assembled units that have been filled, fitted or used.
Items that have been modified, cut to length, or fitted to a machine.
Chemicals and any item that has been in contact with chemical.

Faulty, damaged or incorrect items

If an item arrives damaged, is not what you ordered, or fails in service, contact us on 1300 770 970 or at info@mcx-tech.com before returning it. Please report freight damage within 48 hours of delivery so we can lodge a claim with the carrier.

Where a fault is covered by the Australian Consumer Law or by the manufacturer's warranty, we cover return freight and will repair, replace or refund as the law requires. Warranty assessment on pumps and electronics may require the item to be returned to the manufacturer, and we will keep you informed of timeframes.

Manufacturer warranties

Croplands, Annovi Reverberi and other manufacturers we supply provide their own warranties, which run in addition to your Australian Consumer Law rights. Warranty periods vary by product. Warranty does not cover wear items such as diaphragms, seals, valves and nozzle tips, or damage caused by running a pump dry, by incorrect chemical selection, by frost, or by operating outside the rated pressure.

How to start a return

Call 1300 770 970 or email info@mcx-tech.com with your order number and the part number.
We will confirm whether the item is returnable and issue return instructions.
Send the item to MCX-Tech, 58 Oxley Highway, Gunnedah NSW 2380, or bring it in.

Please do not send items back without contacting us first. Returns received without prior authorisation may be delayed.

Refunds

Approved refunds are made to the original payment method within 10 business days of us receiving and assessing the item. Your bank or card issuer may take a further few days to post the funds. Original delivery charges are refunded only where the item was faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied.
