From the paddock, to the spray rig, to the dealership
MCX Tech started on a family farm at Gunnedah. As the operation grew, spraying became a business of its own — contract spraying across the district, season after season, on our own gear.
Running a contract rig teaches you things a brochure never will. Which pumps hold up. Which booms fold cleanly at the end of a long day. What it actually costs when a controller drops out mid-paddock and the spraying window closes. Every recommendation we make is shaped by having been the operator, not just the supplier.
That experience is why we became a dealer. Growers around us kept asking what we ran and why — so we started supplying it, installing it properly, and supporting it afterwards. Today we look after farmers, contractors, research organisations and agronomists, and we still work the same way: assess the operation first, then recommend the gear.
We're brand-agnostic by choice. We're not here to move a supplier's stock — we're here to put the right system on your machine and keep it working.
